Our Passport to Export initiative is designed to help new or inexperienced exporters to understand and target international customers, providing all the tools you need to grow your business.

It offers flexible and subsidised advice and support that is tailored to your business' individual needs. Your Passport package is unique to you but could include:

• Advice and guidance - on implementing your plans from an experienced International Trade Adviser over a 12 - 18 month period
• An export action plan - outlining key steps and activities to help your company these include: selecting appropriate markets; developing your product or service; meeting legislative requirements; finding contacts and getting paid
• Market research - supplying current market information and contacts sourced from our network of embassies and consulates in potential markets
• Market visit - assistance with organising and researching a visit to your chosen market based upon initial research
• Training - a programme of workshops and events vital to successful exporting such as managing agents and distributors, cultural awareness and documentation
• Financial support - up to £1,500 of matched funding is available to help you implement your plans in agreement with your International Trade Adviser
• At the end of this 12 - 18 month period, your International Trade Adviser may think that you could benefit from our mentoring programme.  This 12 - 18 month programme is available to provide further advice and support for your continued development. 

Eligibility for this initiative will be based upon an assessment by one of our International Trade Advisers.
