Sales and Marketing Skills for Successful Exhibiting

Many successful companies use exhibitions as their main route into new markets whether to find customers directly or to identify agents and distributors, or even just to research the market. Having said that something like 70% of exhibitors feel they are not exhibiting effectively and others feel they are not taking full advantage of the opportunity. This workshop is designed to make sure that companies take full advantage of the exhibitions they are attending - we discuss and set clearly defined objectives, sort out the talk - what people will say on the stand and how they will identify the customers they want to talk to, tips for stand design and stand manning.
Everyone leaves with an individual action plan for pre at and post event activities and increased confidence that they will know exactly what they can do to maximise their business development opportunities through exhibitions.

             Benefits of exhibitions compared with other promotional opportunities Reasons for attending -             objective setting, why are you exhibiting? Planning - pre, at and post event activities

11.15    Sorting your 'talk' - how to get your message across on the stand, what are you selling, who would
             want to buy and why do they buy from you?
             Sorting your 'talk' - opening and qualifying questions, closing techniques and exit strategies
 
12.30     Lunch
 
13.30     Manning the stand - tips, standards of performance, rotas
              Effective stand design - dos and don'ts, elements to focus on, how to make your company stand out
 
15.00    Tea
 
15.15    Maximising the event's marketing opportunities
             Developing individual action plans and identifying key learning points Feedback and evaluation 
 
16.30    Close Cost & Eligibility
